Manawari SEA engages Southeast Asian youth through communities of practice and care, to develop and highlight their voices, capacities, and expertise in responding to the triple planetary crises of climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss and achieving a healthy and meaningful life.

Our Mission

Manawari SEA envisions youth leaders across Southeast Asia leading in the development of intersectional, rights-based, and equitable policies and measures to address the triple planetary crisis, thereby sustainable development, and transformational change for future generations.

We aim to cultivate youth leaders in the region and strengthen their existing knowledge and skills to build expertise and confidence in addressing national and global issues caused by the triple planetary crisis.

We will build a regional community of practice among youth leaders, local communities, and technical experts to serve as a platform for collaboration to inspire continued engagement in addressing the triple planetary crises.

We will foster a culture and community of care among youth leaders and their organizations, thereby emphasizing compassion and providing space for reflection to sustain long-term and effective engagement in development work and addressing the triple planetary crises, especially during times of uncertainty.
